Not being very "girly-girl" myself, I was hoping that Zooey would follow in my tomboyish footsteps and was determined to do my part.  But, as the amount of pink in her wardrobe grew exponentially over the past couple of months, my resolve began to weaken until yesterday, when I finally caved and did something I swore I would never do to any baby daughter of mine:
