Where are the new #%?¥ posts?
To all of Zooey's fans:
We are currently spending a couple of weeks in Three Rivers, CA where Jennie is participating in a music festival--Center Stage Strings--and Chuck is bonding with Miss Z. Unfortunately, internet is limited where are staying and we have been unable to actively update our blog...but fear not, we will add fresh posts chronicling Zooey's adventures when we return Sunday!

getting better...
Zooey is now much better at tummy time,
even enjoying it for BRIEF periods!
She's also strong enough to (almost) flip
over to her belly - maybe next week, she'll make it all the way!

Top Dog! (aka Berkeley Dog)
One of Chuck's favorite haunts during his Berkeley days has a branch in Socal:

I've gotten in the habit of singing "You are my sunshine"
to Zooey when she's sleepy, mostly because I don't
know the words to many lullabies - I know, I'm a terrible mom!
I didn't do my homework and learn all the lyrics to every
lullaby known to mankind before she was born :( :( :(
but now she recognizes the song and always gives me a
sweet smile before drifting off to sleep....

Multi-tasking!
Zooey likes to pull on her hair while she's eating, chewing, playing, etc.
Sometimes she pulls too hard, but she keeps on pulling...
