Daily life with Zooey

We're beginning to learn about Zooey:

 Zooey's WIDE awake after mealtime. . .

. . .then after 30-40 minutes. . . not so much.

(BTW--which PEANUTS character do YOU think she resembles?)


We also have noticed that she likes to salute:

3AM post-meal bonding with daddy. . .

. . .then 3:30AM crash.

Zooey meets family

Zooey's a true California girl--her first tanning session!

On Saturday (2/18/12), we found out that Zooey had a little high bilirubin, so she was started on some phototherapy.

Zooey had to wear goggles.

Fortunately, Zooey only needed the light therapy for a couple of nights, which we were able to do at home.

After 29 hours of labor, Zooey finally arrived on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 5:19AM! She was 9 lbs 3 oz, 21.5 inches!
